STEPHANIE SHOFFNER

Is the Managing Director of the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre in San Francisco, California.  Stephanie Shoffner assumed the administrative management helm of LHT in July 2017 after serving on the LHT Board of Directors for 2 years. Prior to joining LHT, she had a long career in the financial services industry. Ms. Shoffner is committed to obtaining the necessary resources to offer career development opportunities and programs for aspiring theater-makers. Under her direction, LHT is the only African American Theatre in the SF Bay Area with an Actors' Equity Association (union) designation. 

She is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in business operations and and human resources.  Throughout her career, she has excelled in creating open dialogues that empower colleagues to find their own solutions and take actions. With a passion for tackling financial management, employee engagement, and training challenges, Stephanie has a knack for streamlining day-to-day operations and inspiring her team to continuously seek improvement opportunities.

In addition to her corporate roles, Stephanie has also demonstrated her leadership as the Director of Operations at Linda Arrillaga & Associates, Inc. and as a Trainer/Performance Consultant at Citi. Her achievements in negotiating work schedules, increasing employee productivity, and overhauling training programs showcase her dedication to driving success at every level.
